We were delighted to welcome acclaimed children's author Ross Montgomery to Dumpton School last week. Ross filled the younger children's imaginations with images of the tiny beings which star in his new story 'Max and the Millions'. In workshop sessions they generated ideas for 'Prince Luke's Exploration Diary', which many continued to talk about in subsequent English lessons - Ross is keen to hear any ideas the children come up with, so we'll be sending them onto him and may even feature in future stories or on his website! It was lovely to see such enthusiasm from a humorous and witty young writer - hopefully the children will be inspired to follow in his footsteps! Thank you, Ross, for visiting us at Dumpton!
